Darren Dodo is an American politician several time Representative, Senator, Lieutenant Governor, and Governor as well as a Party Treasurer and Secretary. Early in their career they served as a Green Party member, but later joined the Democrats after the November 2021 Reset. They served as the Green Party Treasurer up until the merger, They are currently the Democratic Treasurer, and have run for President as a major candidate 1 time. Darren Dodo is known for his one major bill, the Thomas Abortion Act, which allowed legalized abortions.
Career[]
Dodo identifies as a Libertarian Socialist. They served as a Washington Representative for the Green Party from August 15, 2021 - October 4, 2021, even being the Green Party House Whip while he was there. They would go on to serve as a Senator of Washington with the Green Party from October 4, 2021 - November 8, 2021, and they would serve as the Green Party Treasurer. After the November 2021 Reset, Dodo would join the Democratic Party. He would serve as a Democratic Senator of Ohio from November 8, 2021 - December 16, 2021. After losing their Senate Seat Dodo would move back to Washington and become Governor from December 20, 2021 - December 28, 2021. Following the Governorship Dodo would move back to Ohio, taking up the Governorship from December 30, 2021 - January 19, 2022. After losing reelection in mid January, Dodo would move to Indiana, becoming a Senator from January 20, 2022 - January 27, 2022. Following that he would move back to Ohio, being reelected as Governor from January 29, 2022 - March 2, 2022. Following the March Reset, Dodo would finally settle into an Ohio House Position from March 5, 2022 - March 27, 2022. At some point he served as Governor of Michigan.
Dodo took several months long hiatus from the game during the summer of 2022, and wouldn't come back until early 2023. In early 2023 with the reset to Version VII he changed his name/appearance to Charles Jones Jinglebottom Dodo III, and would begin in Indiana where he would become a Representative from February 11 - February 27, 2023. On February 27, 2023, Dodo would be selected as Lieutenant Governor of Indiana under Governor Cocaine Kucinich for 6 days (February 27 - March 3, 2023). On March 3, 2023 he would once again enter the House of Representatives, and on March 15 he would be renominated as Lt. Gov. under Governor Joni Ernest (March 15-23, 2023). Dodo would go a stretch without running for any positions but just making money for a while, and moving to Tennessee, running for House, and failing, eventually being nominated for Lt. Gov. of Tennessee by Gov. Leona Fisher (April 24 - 28, 2023).
Presidential Elections[]
Darren Dodo was a big player in early Beta 3.0 Green Party Politics, having been involved in several presidential elections. The 15th Presidential Election Darren Dodo had ran in the Primary, but lost. Following that he would be selected as a VP in the 16th Presidential Election under Asuna Yuuki, they would not win any states. Going into the 17th Presidential Election Yuuki would run again, selecting Dodo as their VP a second time, ultimately they would win 10 Electoral Votes. Following the prior election, in the 18th Presidential Election, Dodo would be selected to run for President his first time, he would ultimately win 0 electoral votes against the political titan McNamara. Following the defeat Dodo would go on to be the Vice Presidential Nominee to Yuuki again in the 19th Presidential Election, winning 79 electors, and being tied for the best 3rd Party placing ever. Following this Dodo would go on to run in his last Presidential Election with the Greens as VP nominee under Jon Oleaver under the Green Party, they would go on to win 0 electors.
In the 29th Presidential Election, Dodo would fight his way into the VP position with the Democrat Darius Howard as the Presidential Candidate, but they would go on to lose. Dodo would go on to the 30th Presidential Election and win the primaries with his Vice Presidential nominee Joyce Beatty, but would suffer the worst defeat of any Democratic Presidential Candidate, loosing every state, and only winning D.C..
Following the 63rd Presidential Election, there was a grace period between Version VII and Version VIII, and with the primaries still occurring, Dodo would launch a joke campaign.
