The Republican Party, also known as the GOP, is a big-tent conservative party in the United States. A major party in the game, the Republican Party has been known to the community as consistently active since the game's return in 2021.

Founded by Chavez, the Republican Party has gone through several external and internal turmoils and crises, many which have been redeemed by great feats of accomplishments, varying from successive Presidencies to "Trifectas".

The Party has won several Presidencies, Trifectas, and at one point had the advantage the Democratic Party of the "ancient days" had. This is the result of the Trinity of Blake Stone, Civil Fox, and James Ernest. The trinity falls off in activity during 2023, with Stones the only active Trinity members, who will continue to be a decisive figure in Republican decision-making, with new leadership including Gumball Bobuckson, Lord El-Melloi, Reines Edwards, Yasin Thatcher, forming the Gang of Five.

Ernest returned in fall 2023, and Civil returned shortly after, restoring the Trinity's impact.

Current leadership are Chairman Geneva, Vice Chair Alexia Ashford and Treasurer Lord El-Melloi.

  12. Factionalism not seen in months returns to its peak with Ernest, Chavez, MSC, and other various factions forming, aligning, and fighting with one another.
  13. The developers would re-add handicap funds, add handicap PC, and make the trifecta debuff much more powerful due to the advantage in member count the GOP had
  14. Blake Stone would time out & derole VC Scomo after his popularity declined from the Ernest-Scomo ERP screenshots leak. This would snowball to Stone leaving BFTH (temporarily) and the end of the Gumball chairmanship.

  5. For the first time in the iteration, the democrats led the GOP in party membership, leading to the NGA flipping, but the GOP responded with retaking the house from a democrat 75% majority

Founding (May 12, 2021)

When the game's development of official release began in May 2021, two major groups sought to take the Republican Party of BFTH; Steve McQueen, Leader of the NUP (National Unity Coalition), an age-old political dynasty from BFTH's spiritual predecessor, "Power." Chavez (RFK), leader of the Populists, a group Chavez forged via the Federalist, Reform, and Bull Moose Populist parties from the preceding 2 years.

Chavez forged an alliance with Gary Johnson's Libertarian group.

Founding Fathers

In June 2021, early RNC was characterized by Vice Chair John Philips striving further executive rule, which was curbed. Members soon criticized many aspects of party rule, such as McAppled and Poggers, but they were banned or demoted very quickly. A rift at some point grew where Chavez aspired for absolute control, which angered many members who liked democracy. After election rigging scandal and John Philips ban from the party, James Ernest initiated a "Revolutionary Caucus" composing of the RNC Members (Wilhelm, Aspin, Stone, Johnson, Aegon, etc. The Philips ban lead to the Day of Reckoning, where Ernest's ban moments later for requesting a trial for the ousted Vice Chair lead to The NUP-Revolutionary Caucus Agreement, where Himmler, Moogs, Frank Martin, and Gary Johnson forged an alliance. Disappointing election results for Senate, House, Governors, and the Presidency in the Alpha Release widened rifts, leading to Ernest nominating Blake Stone to be Party Chair. This lead to the Info Wars, where Ernest and Chavez actively produced propaganda films and essays criticizing each other. When Ernest was banned for alleged transphobia, Blake Stone's leadership of the caucus collapsed when NUP launched an invasion, collapsing negotiations, on the Chavez GOP.

In August, when the game finally released, disappointing election results where the Democratic Party completely dominated with a trifecta shook confidence in Chavez GOP. Being pressed by the NUP Coalition, and seeing members contemplate jumping ship to the America First Party, he lead an infamous August Boycott, where the founding fathers who remained quit.

National Unity GOP (August 15, 2021 - October 15, 2021) The Dark Ages

NUP Era began with Cassius MacInnis's Chairmanship, who promptly was faced with dissent from Gavin Newsom (Soocle). Party elections were abolished, and the selective RNC transformed the party into largely aristocratic rule. Cassius was largely advised by Ernest, who was unbanned, on party matters. At some point in August, Soocle had a falling out with Cassius and intentionally/unintentionally launched Roblox Raiders to attack Cassius, which was stopped by him and Ernest's strategy of ending any plans of discord elections. Ernest secured Civil Fox's appointment as National Campaign Director, which transformed the party's hopes in House elections.

Obama Care, Moogs, Huey Long, Lockford, Cassius, and Frank Martin were regarded the breakout stars of the era. Election management was considered below average, and the inactivity of the party itself lead to this era being called "dark age."

Eventually, the GOP had gained the House of Representatives. Cassius was then replaced by Frank Martin, in a shadow coup for being inactive. This ushered in the factionalism brewing, with James Ernest, Blake Stone, CivilTheFox, comprising the "Trinity." The "Trinity" sought revenge for NUP's betrayal of them, and wanted to govern the party, leading to the great October Civil War. Despite failure in the first round of elections, Civil Fox had gained the Vice Chairmanship by that time and it was held ransom by NUP essentially. Sussy Noodle's assistance, as well as some sacrifices by members sick of inactive structure like Cassius, with the blessed timing of Power (the pol sim) returning, leading to the election of Fox, Ernest, and Stone, as Chair, Vice Chair, and Treasurer respectively. This ended NUP with the good lot of them retiring.

Rise of the Libs

In July-August 2022, the Libertarian Party experienced a rapid rise to power, gaining the Majority in Senate and winning the Presidency, as well as gaining more seats in the house and more members in general, becoming the party with the most members within it. This has led to the fall of the GOP as the dominant party. Holding Second Place in both the Senate and House.

The Roblox coupers announcing their victory

On September 27, James Ernest hinted at an AFP and Roblox coup of the GOP. On September 28, Bernard Caldwell would join the GOP along with around 20-30+ new players. The GOP would then see a new chair and treasurer, with only Bazyli keeping his leadership position. Under their short time in power, they’d harass members and attempt to obtain loyalty. They would last 19 hours and 12 minutes in power, however, until Chavez removed them from power and banned some of them. On October 26, Vladimir Putin would declare his run for chair. He got help from some Robloxians, leading to a mini-Roblox coup.

Despite this, one could argue the second Roblox coup strengthened the GOP player count and fundraising ability, which helped them dominate the iteration.

The Fallout of Iteration VII

Entering Iteration VII, things were looking competitive again, however it was expected that the GOP would continue their dominance. But as time went on, things kept getting worse.

Entering Version VII, the GOP would lose the first presidential election. Many claimed the devs increasing handicap funds to the Democrats (as they spent it all on governorships) is the reason for their victory. Austin F. Beck wouldn’t have the same activity as he did the previous iteration, and factionalism would become apparent. Austin F. Beck would eventually leave, giving Obama Care chair. His chairmanship would be marked by division. Caucuses and the national party didn’t see eye to eye. They did, however, win their first presidency. Obama would eventually also leave, which then gave Lord el-Melloi chair. He planned to unite the party, creating the Unity Department. Success wouldn’t occur during his chairmanship, though. Melloi also left, which then gave James Ernest chair. Ernest’s chairmanship was going to “overkill” the Dems. Suspecting the reset was right around the corner, Ernest went all in on the house. This would notoriously make Missouri the largest GOP state in the NGA and grant massive losses in the senate for a minor majority in the house. Eventually, things would break down. Ernest’s Roblox coup in the Democrats fell flat and he resigned.

Throughout the iteration, the glory of iteration VII would never be found. Division and factionalism would reach its highest, and no chair seemed to know how to fix it.
