The Congress of the United States is a bicameral chamber, with the Senate being the upper chamber and the House of Representatives being the lower chamber. The senate has 100 members, two per state regardless of size, while the house has 435 which are apportioned by state population. In the current house, there is no Majority Party, and in the Senate, the Democrats maintained their majority.
